Before I begin, I'd just like to say thanks! to everyone who's been reading my blog &has either left me a comment or personally messages me feedback. iHavent felt this accomplished in a while.
•• Fact // One of my favorite HS teachers [Ms.Sackie - English] commented Passions Significance. Her passion is teaching &iCan personally testify that she's impacted the lives of her students :)

*please excuse me if this post isn't as deeply inspiring as the one before it, but I'd like to share my lifes passion with you and one of the impacts I've discovered it holds.
Measure 3
MUSIC! Well, well, well- what a suprise there! Haha. But yes, for those of you who didnt figure- my passion is Music. iThink everything has a different face to it. The main faces of music are Music Business and Music Entertainment. Although young- simply 17; iHold more insight, more understanding to these faces than many. Simply because it is my passion. iCould never understand someone who complains about working in the studio until 7am or someone who denies the discover of talent.. Just doesn't make any sense!

Up until recently, iFailed to see how my love for music benifited anyone but myself. iWas growing as a singer. iWas expanding my knowledge on the components of music and on music theory. &iWas learning to play all these new instruments. But iFailed to see who else was impacted by my passion. That made me sad. (for those who don't know me- my other bigger passion is having a positive impact on the life of someone else)
iCame home floating on air after that jazz performance. iRambled on and on to my mother about "passion" lol and iWent to bed hunting for ideas and ways to share mine and assure* it's impact.

That evening after, my mom remembered an encounter she forgot to mention.
Mom: some little girl walked up to me the other day. She goes "Are you ms.Saika's mom? You look like her.
Me: oh wow. (failing to see the point of this conversation)
Mom: so iSaid yea. Then she asked "is ms.Saika ever coming back? We miss her." and then iRemembered you left your piano over there.

So I'm smiling really hard because that made me feel AWS0ME! See, around the middle of spring, iHad begun to volunteer at the local Boys&Girls Club. 3 days each week (sometimes accompanied by Kenyatta & Francis) I'd go there to teach basic music theory and conduct a chorus. However, due to a lot going on towards the end of the school year and the loss of the clubs education place person thingy (lol) - my visits had come to a stop.

iHope this entry hasn't gone over too long! But yeah. So, soon after, iWent to go pick up my keyboard and say hi to everyone. It felt amazing to have all those kids swarm around me expressing how much they missed my teaching. Asked if iWas here for singing today & when would iReturn. The program director had then explained to me that the kids asked about me almost everyday =D

See, without realizing it, iHad already taken my passion and shared it with children of my community.
